Spring Time Style

Last Thursday Will an I skipped out on work early to go enjoy some quality time together over some delicious drinks and food at happy hour prices. We very rarely go to eat out by ourselves, so it was a delightful treat, definitely a help to relieve some of the stresses of the work week. One thing I'm really loving about Phoenix nowadays is there are so many wonderful restaurants around now. On the rare occasions we eat out we now have so many places to chose from. In high school and college there were maybe a hand full of places that weren't chains and actually worth eating at. So, yay Phoenix!

I went ahead and recolored my hair and it definitely came out a lot brighter than I was expecting haha, but I'm digging it. The first time I colored it this color my hair wasn't being super cooperative, so this time I left it in for a couple hours longer and apparently that made all the difference. I also was super lazy and didn't tough up my roots, but I'm loving this color with my super dark roots. One thing I will never get used to though are all the crazy stares I get from people, rude much? Will and I are constantly wondering why people are staring at us when we walk around and then we both realize it's my hair. Sometimes I think if people could see the horrible expressions they are making with their faces they would be ashamed, but guess what: pink hair, don't care. So Bye Felicia, haha.

I didn't get any pictures with the cats this time because I figured since I was going out into public I probably shouldn't be covered in cat hair. I don't need to give other people things to stare at. So instead I give you what I like to call 'I have no idea what I'm doing with my body pose', which is usually how most outfit shoots go. I'm lucky to get the hand full of decent looking photos I do get because I swear 98% of the photos all look ridiculous like this I have a hard time taking myself seriously.

  2. One of our neighbors (who is at least in her 70s) asked me if it was natural, to which I said yes, and now she calls me Pinky, haha!

  4. Yeah it's weird, I'm more use to in when we are back in WV in our tiny town, but here in AZ you think people would be use to people walking around with some killer hair, but I guess not. Oh well, haha.

  6. Your pink hair gives makes me happy and is giving me the extra encouragement to just dye mine already. I've been lightening it slowly for a few weeks & have already bought the dye, so I just need to do it.
